Started the season playing the Super Sport Ladies Challenge held at Gary Player Country Club at Sun City Resort about 2,5 hours outside of Johannesburg. It was actually impressive we got three full rounds of golf in, because of a lot of rain and thunderstorms. The weather before the tournament was sunny and 35 C, but once the tournament started the thunderstorms came. The first day I was in the early groups, and got 13 holes in before they blew the horn. After waiting for 4 hours we got to play the remaining 5 holes. The second day I knew I had a later tee time, so I could relax at the hotel room. But thunderstorms and a lot of rain meant more delays and an unplayable course that first had to become playable. So I ended up teeing off about 17:20 that day and played 5 holes before it got dark. The third and last day, after finishing my remaining 13 holes of the second round, the tournament office were again unsure about the incoming thunderstorms. I´m very glad they decided to play, as I shot the lowest round of the day to finish second. I was very impressed by the condition of the course after all that rain, the staff did a great job.

Staying at Sun City was amazing, and there was a lot of fun to do also within the resort. It was super big! They had several different hotels. As a guest you had complimentary entry to their waterpark with some very fun slides, beach and more. They also had opportunities to go on safari, which we did. And with tons of different places to eat, we could try different places every day. They also had other fun things you could do, like jetskis, zip lines, nice walks, and fun activities on the water, but we did not have time to do them.

Because of my second place, I got into the Dimension Data Ladies Pro-Am which is held at beautiful Fancourt in George. Tournament is 10-12th of february.
